The mission...

Warfare of Grace exists to free men from the shame of sexual addiction into spiritual leadership by the biblical warfare of grace.

Confidentiality Agreement

The below agreement is the content of a document signed by every employee, or sub contractor, of Warfare of Grace. For transparency, we have included it here so that our clients can understand our heart behind the idea of confidentiality in healing recovery.

------

Every attempt will be made to guard anonymity and confidentiality, but that anonymity and confidentiality cannot be absolutely guaranteed in a group settings or when matters of mandated reporting are in effect. Clients affirm these following statements for healing groups and they form the general structure of employee content sharing as well.

• I realize that the group facilitator (or employee) cannot control the actions of others in the group.
• I realize that confidentiality is sometimes broken accidentally and without malice.
• I understand that I am allowed to share any of my personal experiences with others outside the group, however, I also understand that disclosing any information about others in the group with anyone outside the group is strictly prohibited. I understand that this type of behavior, whether intentional or unintentional, may result in termination of my group participation.

For those that work with Warfare of Grace, it’s critical to know that breaking confidentiality is a betrayal of our valued clients and friends and will not be tolerated. It diminishes the integrity of the ministry and justifies a lack of trust on the part of our clients. If you are unsure about sharing a piece of information, always check before you do. Improper sharing is grounds for termination of employment.

In addition, you, being a part of Warfare of Grace in an official capacity, are morally and ethically obligated to discuss with authoritative staff any of the following client behaviors. These discussions may lead to breaking of confidentiality and/or possibly intervention:

If a client:
• communicates anything that may be interpreted as a threat to self-inflict physical harm.
• communicates an intention to harm another person.
• reveals ongoing sexual or physical abuse.
• exhibits an impaired mental state.
• reveals that I have perpetrated an act of child abuse and/or child molestation or have expressed the intent to commit such an act.
• reveals that they have perpetrated or are considering an abusive act toward the elderly and/or disabled.

The consequences for communicating the above types of information may include reports to the proper authorities: the police, suicide units, or children’s protective agencies, as well as to any potential victims. Clients who are on probation and/or parole and engage in wrongful behavior in violation of their parole/probation, part of their healing/recovery may include notifying the appropriate authorities.

Above all know that this sharing policy is for the benefit and care of our clients and those they influence. These standards are what we believe to be the right and proper way to enact grace, and Warfare of Grace employees are expected to express that grace in explicit and implicit ways even when dealing with the difficulties involved in confidentiality conflicts.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible and authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:15 -16
  • We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:29; John 5:17-30)
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to the earth in power and glory to rule over the nations. (Isaiah 7:14; Hebrews 7:26; Acts 2:22; I Corinthians 15:3; Acts 1:9-11)
  • We believe man was created good and upright, but fell from that place of perfection into a condition of spiritual depravity. (Genesis 1:26-27; 2:17; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 5:12-19)
  • We believe the only means of our being cleansed from sin is through repentance and through faith in the precious blood of Christ. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation and sanctification. (Luke 24:47; Romans 8:16; 10:13-15; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7)
  • We believe the Scriptures teach a life of holiness. Sanctification is a separation from that which is evil and a dedication unto God. We believe all believers should earnestly pursue sanctification by walking in obedience to God's Word. We further believe that the Christian is able to live a godly life by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (Hebrews 12:14; I Peter 1:15-16; Philippians 2:12-13)
  • We believe that God has commissioned Warfare of Grace to provide a balanced, biblical and sanctifying view of addiction recovery to men for the purpose of improving the interior health of the individual, familial and communal heart's of those within their influence.

It is our greatest passion, pleasure and purpose at Warfare of Grace to bring glory to God Almighty through the outworking of His own marvelous grace in the lives of men. We acknowledge His fore-working, sovereignty, and empowering of our work as we strive to follow His leadership with all our hearts.
